Bosch supports Habitat for Humanity Romania’s mission by involving its employees as volunteers on the construction site and through donations of appliances, electrical tools and heating systems for houses. Bosch’s help will enhance the living and learning conditions for more than 150 children and parents in need.
Over 20 Bosch’s employees worked together with Habitat for Humanity Romania’s workers in order to offer the children living in 12 family houses a better place where they can enjoy their childhood. For one day, the volunteers worked for painting the houses’ bases and for exterior furnishing.
Besides involving its employees as volunteers on the construction site, the company offered important donations for endowment of a community center kitchen and for the heating system of the houses where 80 parentless children are living. Furthermore, the Habitat for Humanity Romania workers and volunteers will work more efficient with the help of the professional tools provided by Bosch.
